Art In Storefronts Summer 2025, “Anything Goes!”
Olympia Artspace Alliance is seeking proposals from artists and artist teams to develop site-responsive, temporary, 2-dimensional and/or 3-dimensional art installations related to the theme “Anything Goes!”. The artwork will be installed in vacant storefront windows in downtown Olympia, mid-August through the end of October 2025.

We’re thrilled to present “Awaken”, our latest window exhibition at the Goldberg Building (Capitol & Fourth), featuring vibrant works by local artists exploring the hope, beauty, and transformation of spring.

We are seeking proposals for site-responsive art installations with the theme “Awaken” to be displayed in vacant storefront windows in downtown Olympia from April through July 2025. This is a unique opportunity for artists to showcase their creativity in a public space while receiving a $500 stipend for their work.

Erika Naficy, owner of 3rd Hand Artist Support, joined us in 2022 as the Art in Olympia Storefronts Program Manager, dedicating her Thursdays to assisting the organization. Erika brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to her role, having worked in local Washington galleries and museums. Her expertise in managing exhibitions and installations for the Alliance is invaluable, and her grassroots efforts directly support Olympia artists in meaningful ways.
